Test conducted Hyperloop One, which is one of the companies involved in the development of the system Hyperloop being a child and visionary billionaire Elon Musk. Its purpose was to test drive capability – yet the open track. Everything was successful, and the sled sped to the speed of 480 km / h. Ultimately, special wagons with passengers or cargo will move inside the vacuum tube.

The experience took place in conditions far from the target, but the progress is and it is significant. The next step is to spin up the machine up to 1100 km / h in a two-kilometer long tube of reduced pressure. It was scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

For now, everything is going according to plan and at a surprisingly fast pace . When in 2013. Musk shared with the world the concept of Hyperloop, nobody could have guessed that anyone who attempts to undertake the implementation. Interestingly, he is not the originator of the intention to get involved in its development. Instead, it room to maneuver given the ambitious companies such as Hyperloop One. It is worth mentioning that the project involved even the Polish team.

One Hyperloop no plans, however, carry passengers. Its aim is to adapt the innovative technology for the transportation charges.

The following is a video recording of the test.

It was originally planned that will connect the city Hyperloop lying too far for a quick trip by car, but also too close to the aircraft. An excellent example is the San Francisco and Los Angeles. Module would have to overcome the distance separating them in 35 minutes. It is also known that the technology is not only in the United States. Seriously interested in its China and even Slovakia. The government of the other country recently signed an agreement with Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) for the development and construction of the ground transportation system that will connect Bratislava and Vienna. The journey would last for 8 minutes.

It should also pay attention to the visuals capsules, which may in the future scurry in vacuum tubes. Their authors are Hyperloop One Hyperloop UC and students from Harvey Mudd College. You will find them in the gallery below.
