A series debuted on the mobile market in 2014. The Korean car company wanted to combine the elegant design, a decent specification and bearable price. And I think it did, because a year later in sales, successive versions of smartphones A3 and A5 .
Now the “Metal” series of smartphones Samsung is back in the new edition. Today the Polish stores hit Galaxy A3 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016).
Design and specification
Case Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 was the implementation of a combination of glass and aluminum. His design alludes to flagowców Korean giant – S6 Galaxy and Galaxy Note 5. Both smartphones are slim (7.3 mm thick) and well “lie” in his hand. I must admit that visually difficult to have these devices any objections.

Inside so “rosy” no longer is. The components used somewhat distancing A3 and A5 models of Samsung’s flagship smartphone and its competitors. But we must remember that these phones do not intend to stand compete with the best. Created with the aim of dominating the mid-priced and – if we look at the competitive Android smartphones in the range from 1200 to 1600 zł – have for doing all abilities.
Samsung Galaxy A3 have been equipped a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 720×1280, while the Galaxy A5 received a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED (1080 x 1920). On the differences between models, of course, is not the end.

The more powerful Galaxy A5, it ośmiordzeniowy system Exynos 7580 (1.6 GHz), 2 GB of RAM and battery with a capacity of 2900 mAh. In turn, the Galaxy A3 has a quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 1.5 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM and a 2300 mAh battery.
The screens of both phones have been covered with glass made in 2.5D technology. Devices have a rear camera 13 mpx with optical image stabilization, webcam to selfie 5 mpx and 16 GB of flash memory that can be expanded by another 128 GB, thanks to slotowi Micro SD card.
Additional features and price
The more expensive model was equipped with a fingerprint reader, which was placed on the “Home” and the quick battery charging, through which the battery unit Charge from 0 to 50 percent. in just 30 minutes.
Also new is the Quick Launch feature, which allows you to express your camera run through a quick double-click of a button “Home”. It is available for both the new Galaxy A5 and A3 Galaxy.

Smartphones are controlled by Android 5.1. Lollipop version. However, we can expect that in coming months it will be replaced with the latest version of Google’s mobile system – 6.0. Marshmallow.
Both the A5 Galaxy (2016), and its cheaper counterpart from today are available in Poland. First suggested retail price of the devices is approx. 1649 zł. A3 for the Galaxy (2016), in turn, will pay approx. 1249 zł. Both smartphones are available in three colors – gold, white and black.
First Impressions
The first contact Samsung Galaxy A5 makes a really good impression. Great in the hand, it is light, but at the same time there is a feeling that soon departure. Although this is the average shelf, it visually does not differ much from top models of competition. The phone starts up quickly and the system runs smoothly. Turning on the camera when you double-click on the button “home” is a matter of time.
For now, we had no opportunity to be in the hands of the Samsung Galaxy A3. Soon, however, we will prepare for you a full review of both devices.
