Nokia returns to the smartphone market. It wants to beat the competition? – Gazeta.pl

It seems that as previously announced, of which wrote , Nokia intends to return to the market of smartphones. From a legal point of view, it will be possible next year. This is the result of an agreement with Microsoft, who took over from Nokia’s basically a whole section producing smartphones in 2013.

The new product Nokia (the company has the right to use on smartphones names and logos of next year) we know little. Portal GSM Arena has published visualization which shows smarfon C1. It is not clear whether the producer will release several versions: with Android, Windows 10 or maybe both systems. Unfortunately there is no absolutely certain that the following picture shows actually the product of Nokia.

In the new “incarnation” Finnish giant wants to conquer primarily in Asia, emerging markets. The advantage is still known name, habits of consumers. The problem: a gigantic competition. In the almost three years of acquisitions in the smartphone market occurred very serious changes. Some manufacturers, such as HTC, record losses and a decline in market share. Others, such as Huawei, getting better on European markets.

Nokia could count on sentiment customers, the brand still has considerable strength. Microsoft Strikes

Meanwhile, Microsoft is launching a phone that is designed for less advanced users. On the Indian market gets Nokia 230 costing $ 55. The device includes a feature phone’ów, it is equipped with a camera “designed to make selfie,” the screen 2.8-inch, 16MB of RAM and battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh.

The agreement with Nokia enables Microsoft the temporary use of Nokia to sign phone’ów feature.
