Astronomers have found another Venus – Polish Radio

It is three times closer to us than any other discovered planet resembling Earth.

Astronomers say that it is like a planetary sister Venus. It is called GJ 1132b; its size and exactly the radius, one and two-tenths of the Earth’s radius. It’s away from us by 39 light years, or 370 trillion kilometers, which means that probably we never visit.

Besides, it is too hot for them to live on her people, but on the other hand, cool enough to keep some atmosphere.

American explorers suggest in “Nature” that the next generation of terrestrial telescopes will be able to check whether the coating gas there actually is and what it consists of.
