Motorola made the phone with a screen that does not break – Gazeta.pl

We appreciate, but unfortunately, only if you live in the United States. For now, only two models Motorola – Droid Maxx 2 and Droid Turbo 2 – have been equipped with new screens with an attractive name Motorola ShatterShield .

Motorola Droid 2 and Droid Maxx Turbo 2 Fig. Motorola

Both Droids are manufactured by Motorola for the US operator Verizon. Specifications are not the worst – cheaper Maxx 2 has a display of 5.5 “1920×1080 ośmiordzeniowy 615 Snapdragon processor with a clock of 1.7 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 21 MP camera and battery with a capacity of 3630 mAh. Turbo 2 has however ośiordzeniowego Snapdragon 810, slightly larger battery, 3 GB RAM and a screen of 5.4 “after a resolution of 2560×1440.

Both devices can, however, boast extremely robust displays. Most phones after falling from a height of one and a half meter may end up with little cobwebs, the new Motorola phones are a resilient thanks to the construction of five layers:

– two layers of tempered glass

– panel Touch constructed so as to operate even after damage

– a flexible display

– aluminum frame, which transfers energy from the collapse of the entire device, which protects the delicate screen

We hope that in the future these screens will go also to other models of Motorola. If you do not believe in their strength see for the material prepared by CNN. At the end of the screen is damaged, but not cracked:
