NASA just published a picture of Curiosity in the squad. Photography was combined with multiple images, the camera performed Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI). The lens is installed on the robot arm and the camera captures his work. Curiosity carries so the photo in the same way as people doing yourself selfie a special “stick”.
