Rosetta confirms ice on a comet 67P – Polish Radio


                             The European Space Agency (ESA) Rosetta mission of ten years. Now the culmination and achieved success.
                         

In early August a probe reached the comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko and has since led up observations. The lander Philae in November settled on the surface of a comet. Thanks to this success, the European Space Agency has a chance to become as well-known in the world as NASA.

The European Space Agency ( European Space Agency, ESA) is an intergovernmental organization. Its task is the implementation of a common European program of research and exploitation of space. The Agency also supports the development of a modern and competitive industry in the Member States. The ESA consists of 20 Member States: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland (November 2012.), Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Sweden , the United Kingdom and Italy. On the basis of a separate agreement in the work ESA also participates Canada.
