Streaming on YouTube at 60 fps – Onet.pl

YouTube partnered with leading software vendors dostreamingu, such as Elgato and XSplit and latest updates Elgato Game Capture, XSplit Broadcaster and XSplit Gamecaster already support also broadcasts via YouTube, and its technology to 60 fps. Each stream will be through YouTube transcoded to 720p or 1080p just in liquidity target of 60 frames per second, with the exception of those situations where a computer or browser they are unable to cope with such a burden – if the frame rate will be reduced to 30 per second.

In addition, new video streams from YouTube will support playback of transmission in browsers that support HTML5 standard. This means that during the streaming you will go back to the previous fragment thereof, and then “catch up” with it using a faster, 1.5x or 2x speed.

All this new functionality in the test version to be released in the near future, at the next engine update YouTube.
