Mother’s Day is celebrated in Poland on May 26th. The word “mama,” which sounds similar in many languages ​​of the world, is the day on the lips of everyone, not just children. We fold the wishes of children preparing greeting cards and special performances for their mothers. This tradition has more than a 100 years. For the first time in the history of Mother’s Day was celebrated in Krakow in 1914.

Mother’s Day – History

Day has its roots in ancient times. In Greece and Rome it was surrounded by the cult of the mother-goddesses. They were symbols of fertility and harvest. Folding the solemn sacrifice. Mother’s Day is celebrated in more than 90 countries around the world, but at different times.
