New Google Pixel – rival MacBook Chrome OS – Interia

Google Chromebook Pixel has updated its flagship mobile computer with Chrome OS on the market. New Pixel is even better and slightly cheaper than its predecessor.

This year Google has a pixel screen size of 12.85 inches, which operates at a resolution of 2560 by 1700 pixels. The display boasts a density of 239 pixels per inch, and brightness of 400 nits. Computer case is made of aluminum, and the whole thing weighs less than 1.5 kg.


Depending on the hardware, the new Pixel will be powered by an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 fifth generation. On board you will find an 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of disk space.

Pixel away from the power socket can withstand up to 12 hours of continuous operation. Computer recharge via USB-C (15 minutes charging will provide approx. 2 hours Chromebook), which is identical to that used in the new MacBook. In contrast to Apple hardware, the new Pixel has much more communication ports, two USB-C, two USB 3.0, headphone jack and SD card reader.
