Appearance, quality

The compact housing a little reminiscent S3 model from the same manufacturer. White color in combination with silver trim cover creates the impression of sterility, but also looks very elegant. The cover is made of a matrix with a brushed aluminum panel and placed near the right edge of the silver brand logo. We were surprised by the very good overall stiffness of the cover, because in small laptops do not happen very often. Aluminum panel Although bends slightly, but only in the vicinity of the logo.

V3-371 central unit is made of smooth white plastic. Its stiffness is impeccable, and truth be told, we are surprised that with such a small thickness Acer engineers managed to create housing that is resistant to deformation. Both parts fit and quality are very good; it is impossible to see any uneven gaps at the joints elements or imperfections in the materials used.

Connectors

A set of connectors is rather standard for this class of devices. These are: one USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, LAN, HDMI, card reader and shared Audio-in (microphone / headphones). Their distribution is correct, but some wish it had a laptop equipped with two USB ports as standard 3.0.
