Google has announced the imminent closure of the program Glass Explorer program.
Google Glass is a gadget that shows one of the directions in which mobile technologies will be developed. These glasses developer version appeared on the market in 2013, in May 2014 were offered to all interested Americans as still a test version of Explorer Edition, and a few months later went to offer Google Play. Unfortunately, the price has not changed the unit, which continues to be fixed at a level up to $ 1500 making it a gadget, which decided only his biggest supporters.
Those less wealthy have long been waiting for the announced release of Google Glass in the consumer version, which is above all much cheaper. Today we know that Google is actually serious about its elaboration. Indeed announced that on January 19 will close the project Glass Explorer Program (glasses will, however, continue available to developers) at the same time referring to the life of a new branch dealing with only the development of the Google Glass based on the collected experience so far.
