Operators want to provide high-speed Internet to small towns – Computer World

5 December, the European Commission approved the Operational Programme
 Digital Poland. It is assumed that by the end of 2020 each household
 Appliances in Poland will have access to the Internet at speeds
 at least 30 Mb / s. Half of them should use the links
 a minimum of 100-megabit.

In many villages and cities to good internet access
 However stationary currently impossible – suppliers
 does not pay to put in them, or fiber optic cables. For this reason,
 the race for subsidies also want to stand mobile operators.
 They claim that the inhabitants of these villages provide efficient
 link using LTE technology.

So far we do not know whether to use it under the
 Operational Programme Digital Poland agrees to the Ministry
 Administration and Digitization. Until now, it looked rather
 reluctant to such a solution. Some experts, however, claims
 that LTE may be necessary to ensure that failed to meet the objectives
 established by the Union. The decision has to be made by the Ministry of
 soon.
