Samsung sold 40 million Galaxy S 4 - CHIP

This is an excellent result, strengthening the Korean company a leader among manufacturers of smartphones, and even though Samsung does not seem to be pleased with the sales results. There have been reports that the successor to the Galaxy S 4 will be launched two months earlier than originally planned, because of unsatisfactory sales performance.

Perhaps it is a noticeable slowdown in sales compared to the first three months after its release, in which the Galaxy S 4 went on to sell 30 million copies. In August, Samsung executed contract “only” 5 million units.

For comparison, Apple sold 48 million iPhones in the first quarter, which was available in the iPhone 5 Unfortunately, the Cupertino company does not provide accurate data to the model, and the only quarter sales of all iPhones, so we can only assume that the sales Galaxy S 4 and iPhone 5 were in the first quarter after the release comparable.
