Graphene is a single layer of carbon, looks like a honeycomb explains Jacek Luczak Boniarz the Copernicus Science Centre. It’s a fascinating material that does not occur in nature. It is 300 times stronger than steel, yet 1,000 times lighter than paper.

According to the researcher

use of graphene are only limited by our imagination. Such material may be, for example, “electronic parchment”, a newspaper that gets content from the Internet, and by the way shows films and is almost indestructible as any folding does not lose its properties.

Polish invention is to find the cheapest and cleanest technology while graphene. If it becomes cost-effective for mass production revolution awaits us – says Jacek Luczak Boniarz. He added that Poland can succeed only with the sale of a patent, because we are not technological leader.
Polish authors of success in the development of cheaper production technology of graphene are scientists from the Technical University of Lodz, working with the Warsaw Institute of Electronic Materials Technology and the company Seco-Warwick with Swiebodzin.

early as next year there will be specialized equipment ready to produce graphene.
