Internet: A thief will find a way! - NEWSFix Magazine

CERT Poland has been running since 1996 and the day and the security of the network. It warns against the seemingly trivial matter, which is to use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + C and CTRL + V (copy – paste). As it turns out, a simple command can make our money will not be sent to the right person, but that the thief. It is known that most of us use keyboard shortcuts to avoid having to rewrite such a long string of digits, which is the bank account number.

occurs by a virus which encrypts the record to the clipboard and replaces it with the account number, the thief. It converts various formats saved 24 digits. They may have written a string, with a space of four digits, or a note – do not change the format, only after checking the number you could see that it’s different. More than 3,000 users have been mugged in this way, and the program was designed to work only in our country (that we know from the account number that was in the Polish bank).
CERT warns against malicious virus are advised to check the number every time you copy it.
