Strong earthquake in New Zealand - On the 24

A strong earthquake struck the New Zealand – report U.S. Geological Service (USGS).

The earthquake had a strength of 6.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located about 50 km south-west of Brooklyn, a town on the outskirts of Wellington – New Zealand’s capital.

So far no information about the victims. It is known that in the region of the earthquake there has been a power failure.
